Founded from a hobby whilst studying to become an engineer
From a very young age, Jide had always been interested in the arts, he also had a very analytical mind that was not only curious but good at problem solving. It was no surprise he would then go to one of the top engineering institutions in the world to get a Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engeering. The opportunity for further study presented itself in writing a PhD thesis in Biomechanics.
Whilst his thesis, Jide and his colleagues found that they had so much time on their hands so they developed one of the first social media websites for photography in the year 2004. His role in this venture was to develop a photography interest and use it to drive traffic to the site. His portfolio on the site grew so popular that he then was asked to photograph peoples portraits, birthdays and events. While this hobby grew he would travel the world taking photographs and selling his prints to private individuals and showing at major galleries. It was no surprise three years later when he will then be asked to photograph his first wedding. The rest is history as they say.
